I hope you are well and have managed to avoid any colds etc. that have been doing the rounds.
On Friday 2nd February I joined John Ellis and the Doncaster Youth Jazz Orchestra as part of their series entitled Jazz @ The Earl - the earl in question being The Earl of Doncaster Hotel. What a fantastic night! The DYJO were on top form and did a brilliant job with all the charts I took with me. Thank you to one and all.
I'll be working with Hugh Ockendon and his trio and a very special guest, Matt Wates, on Thursday 22nd February at Eltham Warren Golf Club. I've sung there before and it's a lovely crowd - I'm looking forward to being back.
Lunchtime on Sunday 11th March sees me back at Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club performing songs associated with Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald (amongst others) in the stellar company of Mark Nightingale, John Pearce, Paul Morgan and Bobby Worth. These Sunday lunchtime gigs at Ronnies are extremely popular so do book early.
I've mentioned that we've taken delivery of more copies of my CD with Fat Chops entitled 'Frim Fram Sauce'. These will be available at gigs or may also be purchased via the website. If you'd like a copy please let us know - they are selling fast!
If you'd like to get in touch, please use the Contact page - which can also be used for other CD enquiries. We do our very best to answer any messages as soon as we possibly can.
That’s all for now. Have a wonderful Christmas and a very happy, healthy and peaceful New Year.
